Our mission is educating, engaging and empowering young people in the democratic process. We are here to create a generation and a community that will have the ability to compete nationally and internationally with their counterparts. Our purpose will be to pursue the ideas of liberty, justice, and freedom for all regardless of race, religion, or sex. We will pursue these ideas through support of the Democratic Party and its ideas, ideals, and candidates.

Good day all:
This message cannot begin to convey the heartfelt appreciation for your attendance at The South East Queens County Young Democrats (SEQCYD) kickoff ceremony and celebration of the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 17, 2011 at the Black Spectrum Theatre!
The turnout from the community encourages us and lets us know that our presence is warranted and that we have great things to accomplish.
The Executive Board Members of SEQCYD are truly inspired and committed to educating, engaging, informing and empowering young people in the democratic process! However, we understand and respect that South East Queens has a unique political paradigm that dictates that residents of all ages need what we have to offer. We welcome you all and look forward to working with you all!
Have a great day!
Sincerely,
The Executive Board Members of SEQCYD
